I regularly purchase herbs and spices for my Ayurveda practice, cooking, making herbal remedies and Ayurvedic Oils and thought it would be a nice thing to share with our community.

I plan three monthly Spice Bazaars, with fresh herbs and spices, but you can send me an order anytime. Just use this webpage as a reference and I will make them up for you.

As powdered herbs don’t last very well up here, I recommend buying small amounts if you don’t use often. I have emphasised seeds, pods and barks because they can be ground in a spice or coffee grinder. or a mortar and pestle and last a lot longer up here. I am open to suggestions if other herbs and spices are popular.

Amounts are by volume with two sizes. Its amazing how different, different volumes actually weigh! Note cinnamon and turmeric below…

A small and larger volume are available with a choice of cellophane bag or PET jar for each. 

A small cellophane pack or small jar fills a typical spice jar.

The handy, stackable jars are $3 for the smaller and $4 for the larger jar.
